HRERA Faridabad Checklist: Tracking Developer NOCs and Pending Approvals
A practical guide for property buyers in Faridabad to check pending utility NOC approvals (water, DHBVN electricity connection, sewerage disposal) on the Haryana RERA portal.
Under the Haryana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (HRERA), developers must secure several No Objection Certificates (NOCs) before registering sale deeds or handing over possession. This checklist helps you track these approvals to protect your investment.
The Critical NOC Checklist
- Water Supply NOC: Usually provided by HSVP or local municipal corporation. Check if the pipeline infrastructure is approved or if the builder is relying on unauthorized borewells.
- Electricity connection (DHBVN): Verify if the permanent sub-station is set up. Builders operating on high-capacity diesel generators (DG sets) charge higher backup rates and indicate pending DHBVN approvals.
- Sewerage Disposal: Connection to the master sewer line of the sector must be certified by HSVP.
To verify these approvals, search the project RERA registration ID (e.g. RERA-PKL-XXXX-2026) on the official HRERA website under 'Project Status Details'. Understanding these public clearances is the single best way to ensure your builder floor or apartment possession is hassle-free.
